Our show is a mix of comedy, family advice, society, and culture. We have a great time while discussing things that are relevant to teens and parents or ministers working with teens.

I had the idea to start this show because as a youth minister I see every single day how completely clueless parents are about the culture their kids live in. My hope was that I could bring a bit of insight to help parents make educated, wise decisions when it comes to parenting their teen. It's been funny though, we've had a lot of parents who's kids aren't teens yet comment and thank us for giving them a head start. That's even better in my opinion. Anyway, that's our show. It's hosted by me and my cousin Blaise who is a crazy person. We grew up like brothers so we're close and we feel that brings a pretty fun chemistry to the show. Anyway, check it out if you haven't.

Right now, I am using feedburner to publish my site, but using Blubrry's Powerpress plugin to create the enclosures and put a media player on the website. I see that I can redirect the Blubrry stats to feedburner, but its asking for a redirect URL, and where do I get it? Is it just my feedburner feed url?

We started this last year around this time, I think...

We being my husband and me. I am the techie one in the family, so I do all the editing and posting, and so you will see me posting here more than him.

Mostly what we talk about is the way people deceive themselves by focusing on the familiar and hanging out with like-minded folks. One of the goals of our podcast is to help each other break out of some of the trance-like thinking we all tend to slip into. One of our recent shows was about a book called "Mistakes were made, but not by me" which talks about how we are sort of hard-wired to reinforce beliefs we already have. I highly recommend that book as a way to start thinking differently about what you think. Another good one is called "The Matrix" by Greg Boyd.

Anyway, check us out if that sounds interesting at all.

Congrats Chris. I am listeng as I type here. Your sound quality is excellent. Love the name too. I am not a comic book fan in the least, but I like the way you set this up. Your energy is up and I am listening and interested in what your speaking of, and again, I do not like comics. I think your going to do very well with this show. Enjoy and have fun buddy.

After months of sitting around on my butt, I finally launched my first podcast under the 1.21 Studios Network,

Obsessive Comics Disorder

In this podcast, I look at whats new in the comic book world, what I've bought, what's going to be good, and what probably isn't. Also, I take questions from listeners about anything having to do with comics and answer them live on the show! In the future, I also plan to have panel discussions with other fellow comic book fans and see what their thoughts are.

Well, I'm finally going to get off my butt and record something this week. However, for this podcast, I need people to email me questions at ocdcast@gmail.com so I will have something to talk about and answer on the show. Any sort of questions relating to comic books are okay, anything from what is hot now/how to store them or protect them/is this worth any money/where can I find a comic book store??
